This last year has been a whirlwind of changes and I'm hoping it's finally going to settle just a bit. I got divorced last August and I'm currently in Paris, France waiting to marry my sweetheart from when I was 19. I've started a new blog, called, "Inara's Art", focusing on the various art forms that I do, not just scrapbooking. It can be found here:
I can't bear to erase this blog though because it really documented some difficult years in my life. But I won't be posting here again.

Ever since I first read about this amazing sale I have been waiting for our budget to oblige me. Finally, it did! Last Thursday at 3am I ordered this with trembling fingers!!!! It arrived today, unbelievably fast! I have been stalking www.scrapbookobsession.wordpress.com since she also ordered a box, but mine has different stuff in it, which I guess I'm pretty happy with. These photos were taken in a photo booth around Christmas, 1942. My grandparents look so adorably lovesick! I wanted to capture the beauty of that time, and just the hope I see in their faces. They really did have such a long, happy life together. This was done on a 2 foot by 3 foot canvas.

The incomparable view from the trail going up Multnomah Falls, which Jesse and I bravely attempted today. We did not succeed in reaching the top of the falls, but we will someday, together!!! I even got stung by a bee in the car on the way and we still managed to conquer most of the trail. (I have n very severe bee-phobia) I forgot my camera at work this weekend, so these are all from my cellphone, I'm rather pleased with the quality, actually.
